Hear world traveler Martha Ohlson talk about her trip to Iceland & Greenland.

This presentation will be on Martha's trip to Iceland and Greenland in August and early September 2022. In addition to spending some days in Reykjavik, she rented a camper van in Iceland for thre weeks and did the entire ring road (plus side trips), then went on a cruise to Northeast Greenland for 2 weeks. NE Greenland is the wilderness part of Greenland. Polar bears are the primary risk. Her visits to villages were all on the west coast.

Martha is from Michigan originally but moved to Texas after college to look for a job. She ended up working for Texas Instruments for 29 years and traveled during her limited vacation time. Martha retired in 2012 and has been traveling ever since (except during COVID). In July 2020, she moved to Colorado. Martha has also been a member of the Dallas Sierra Club since 1988.
