The North Texas Corporate Recycling Association's Green3 Awards seek to recognize the outstanding efforts of our members and their customers and clients to reduce waste, and to establish, deliver and promote extraordinary recycling programs and offer creative recycled products for North Texas.

Have you wondered about how this works? Or tried it before with limited results? Join us to uncover the science behind mental imagery and begin to decode the symbols in your home. This is the second of a 10 Session Series where we will understand and apply the BaGua, Holons, and other techniques to create symbolic spaces that enhance joy, harmony and propel us towards the realization of our deepest wishes and goals. Each participant will receive a BaGua (Map) and Elemental Assessment along with other materials included in the Per Session Fee. In this session we will be focusing on the Career areas of our home - floor by floor and room by room. Bring pictures for individual assessment and recommendations!

This meeting's speaker will be Jackie Peal, Master Gardener from Calloway's nursery, and will be speaking on the topics of landscaping with native species and the organic/natural fertilizers. Come out to meet one of the most influential residential landscape design companies, learn something new and meet other folks in the Sustainable culture that can help your business to grow!

We will be following our synergizing format that we did last time. When people arrive you will be broken into three groups:

1) Home and Buildings 

2) Food and Gardening

3) Health and Lifestyle 

The first part of the meeting will be spent socializing with the
people in your industry. There has been a great response from people
spending time with others that are in their given fields.

After that you will draw a business card from the hat. You will then
have a 5 minute 1-1 with that person and you will be giving their 30
second commercial! This was a HUGE success last time. Lots of FUN!

Each meeting will be sponsored by a different business every month.
The sponsor will have 10 minutes to talk to the group about what they
do. There will be several other perks that go along with sponsorship.
The sponsor is paying the $75 room fee so that we can have our own
private room that's quiet. Finally!

What: Big Earth Racing Spring/Fall Classic Sprint Triathlon

solar trailer will provide 100% solar electricity for the race needs
(all timing clocks, public address systems, lights, communications, and
more).

The Spring/Fall Classic event will host a recycling area, which will
include companies recycling such items as athlete shoes, bike chains,
athletic water bottles, tire tubes, cell phones - to name a few.

Kids entering 5th and 6th grades capture the beauty of the natural world while learning the basics of
composition and developing your artistic vision. Share the results of
your efforts in a photographic exhibition at the Living Science Center.

(5th-8th grade classes are $200 per session plus $10 materials fee)
