Earth Day Dallas hopes to catalyze a "green" movement in North Texas by staging a two-day event on April 22nd and 23rd over several city blocks in the Dallas Arts District.  We anticipate 500 civic, corporate and non-profit participants engaged in an event that will be the biggest and best Earth Day celebration in this part of the United States.  Sponsors currently include:

Permaculture is sustainable agriculture, organic gardening, and green building/living at its best. Dick has taught Permaculture Design Courses in Austin and Martha's Vineyard for many years and will introduce Permaculture from 7-8:30 pm. Hike one of the most scenic wilderness trails in Western Arkansas. Backpack about 4 miles one way and camp near a water fall. Fairly easy trip and suitable for beginners.
