April Christensen has worked in project development for both wind and solar projects over the past 5 years at Invenergy.
Her most recent development, Samson Solar, is located in northeast Texas in Lamar, Red River, and Franklin counties. Once built, Samson Solar will be the largest utility scale solar project in the United States.
Prior to her time at Invenergy, April spent time in the residential energy efficiency space, bringing programs to utilities across the Midwest. She has a Masters of Environmental Management with a focus in Energy and the Environment from Duke University. She obtained her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hastings College. April is originally from Nebraska, where she grew up on her family’s farm. She now lives in Denver, Colorado, where she enjoys hiking, cycling, and playing the piano.
