TCU Frogs jump in to save rhinos

A public talk about the TCU Rhino Initiative on Jan. 18 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center.

Veteran grassroots activists will share their stories at the Root and Branch Revue Jan. 24-28.

Green Revolution is a curriculum geared to students in 6th through 12th grade in Fort Worth ISD.

The city is enlisting volunteers to collect one million pieces of trash during November through January. 

Students contribute $5 per spring and fall semester designated for environmental improvement at UNT.  

Earth Day Texas is hosting a trip to John Bunker Sands Wetland Center on Oct. 15.

A celebration was held Oct. 4 for the 10,000 child visitor to the Edith Sneed Environmental Research Area.

The fees would help pay for much-needed infrastructure repairs and further enhancements to the city owned venue. 

The authors will be speaking at the Dallas Sierra Club meeting at Brookhaven College on Sept. 13.

Speakers will talk about the current state of Texas' water supply, threats and conservation methods on Sept. 17.
