Presenter: Kevin Sloan, ASLA, Honorary AIA. Professor of Practice in Architecture at the University of Texas – Arlington. Urban planner, landscape architect, Dallas Morning News writer

The work of Kevin Sloan lives at the intersection of mega cities and rewilding.Rewilding is an approach to landscape and environmental design that is sweeping the world. Mr. Sloan’s work and writings have become a preeminent voice in leading its development. In order to better understand the unprecedented problems of the 20th century mega city, Sloan established his practice in Dallas-Fort Worth to explore and develop new methods to restructure unplanned mega patterns with nature and rewilding. The recent creation of the Airfield Falls Conservation Park in Fort Worth demonstrates these new landscape and planting principles.
