Fractured: A Live Webinar with Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D.

The landscape of Arlington (and many other North Texas cities) is pocked by fracking well sites.

While the worst of our city's fracking boom is over, drilling is still expanding in Arlington. The city is currently home to 53 drill sites with over 350 gas wells, combined.

Most residents live dangerously close to gas wells, putting their health at risk. Many in Arlington and neighboring cities live near highly polluting compressor stations, three of which were just listed in the top ten of all polluters in Tarrant County.

Join us for a conversation with biologist, author, cancer survivor, and co-founder of Concerned Health Professionals of New York, Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D. Steingraber will discuss fracking and its impact on public health, communities, and our climate.

There will be a Q & A at the end of the presentation.
