Premiere of Our Fight for a Liveable Arlington, a documentary about Liveable Arlington, a grassroots fracking watchdog group. This short film tells the story of Liveable’s origins and decade of organizing.
The nonprofit will also screen a second short film — a European TV news report about fracking in Arlington for export to Europe.
Following the viewing, the filmmaker Michael Rowley about his experience shooting the film.
Liveable will also give an overview of Total Energies' upcoming plans to frack 10 gas wells next to an Arlington early childhood development center and ways to get involved.
Refreshments and beverages will be provided. Complimentary event parking two minutes from the venue will be provided.
