The book we will be discussing is: "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need" by Bill Gates.

Gates’ bestselling book was met with generally quite good reviews, with much praise for taking advantage of existing technologies and innovation. He has spent a great deal of time studying climate change. Critics point out the political difficulties to be encountered and his dubious endorsement of nuclear power. This will likely be a lively discussion.

Come to the meeting for the discussion whether you have read the book or not.

At this meeting we will also discuss the next environmental/nature book or article we want to read.
