Presented by Texas Master Naturalist Dana Wilson.

Learn how you can easily create a habitat for our pollinators, even in an urban setting. Dana will guide us through the hows and whys of pocket prairies. To counter declining prairie habitat and the related decrease in insect populations, pocket prairies have become one of the most talked about topics in gardening and naturalist circles. Typically a small, urban planting featuring plants native to North Texas, your pocket prairie will provide a welcome “way station” for our pollinators.
