David Beasley will lead a comprehensive introduction of the Basic Organic Program with a focus on maintaining your lawn and garden the natural way.

Covering the most effective and natural techniques to maintain a healthy and vibrant lawn and garden, David’s presentation will include the life in the soil, fertilizing, weed control, pest control, watering in Texas, as well as a few other topics.

This informative presentation is for both beginners and advanced gardeners as new techniques and products have become available.

David was born and raised in Dallas. He studied at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he discovered his love of plant science and landscaping. After graduating college, he stayed in Fayetteville for several years where he worked under master growers and horticultural experts, raising a variety of both native and endangered species while studying landscape design. David currently works at Walton’s Garden Center as a Plant and Disease Specialist and is an avid supporter of the Dirt Doctor and the Texas Organic Research Center.
