Learn the connections between aquatic invertebrates and the health of the water and learn about aquatic species collection and how to determine species types and numbers and what their presence (or not) may mean in our nature preserve pond environment. We'll have nets, plastic trays, pipettes, and microscopes so we can figure out what's in the water at SCNP.
Our leaders are: Zoe Ann Stinchcomb, Retired Education Director at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Melissa Walker, City of Arlington Stormwater Education Specialist and Bee City USA Affiliate Coordinator
