The Chamber is hosting an Energy and Natural Resources Public Policy Forum Thursday, May 17, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Arlington Convention Center. The forum will touch on energy generation, water supply and other crucial infrastructure issues from a federal, state and local perspective.

The keynote speaker will be Karen Harbert, president and chief executive officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for 21st Century Energy. State Representative Jim Keffer, chairman of the Energy Resources Committee in the Texas House, is also a confirmed speaker. The cost for registration is $35 for non-members and $25 for Chamber members. You may register by clicking here.

The energy forum is part of a series that Chamber will conduct periodically as it rolls out the 10-year strategic plan. A forum on mobility is set for October 4 and a date for a discussion of redevelopment in early 2013 will be announced later this summer.
