Beer & Bones: Going Green
Thursday, March 22, 2012
7-10pm in the Science Building at the Museum of Nature & Science
Sponsored by the BioEnergy Science Center, the Department of Energy and the Creative Discovery Museum
It's a party for the planet at the Museum of Nature & Science! Join us for Beer & Bones: Going Green as we discover the science involved in creating a healthier planet. We'll explore solar energy, biofuels and green lifestyle choices through fun, hands-on activities and chats with industry professionals. Inside the Planet Shark: Predator or Prey traveling exhibit, learn about the Great Garbage Patch in the Pacific Ocean (which is roughly the size of Texas!) and learn what you can do to help keep our oceans healthy. Do Mother Nature a favor and mark your calendars for this early Earth Day celebration! Find out more at: http://natureandscience.org/publicprograms/beer_and_bones.asp
