Jeff Ray is a self-described weather science nerd and avid gardener who will share his expertise on his favorite subjects with ACC members and friends in October. Born in Lubbock, Jeff attended college and worked in Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn.; Austin, Texas; Gainesville and West Palm Beach, Fla; Starkville, Miss.; and Kansas City and Jefferson City, Mo. before seeing the light and coming back to Texas in 2010 as senior meteorologist with CBS 11.

He will discuss what North Central Texas can expect from an increasingly warmer planet and what we can do to prepare.
