Kimberlee Peterson will address the relationships between insects and trees – the good, the bad, and the “well, it depends.” She’ll talk about how our perception of what is around us can vary depending on goals and objectives for our forest areas.

Kimberlee grew up in the South Arlington/Mansfield area and earned a B.S. in wildlife, sustainability and ecosystems sciences, followed by an M.S. in agriculture and natural resources, at Tarleton State University. She has been with the Texas A&M System for seven years, the first four at AgriLife Research exploring native seed and prairie restoration and more recently as a woodland ecologist with the Texas A&M Forest Service.
