Ted Ryan is a science operations officer in the Fort Worth-Dallas office of the National Weather Service, a division of NOAA. He will discuss the climate-driven trends in temperature and precipitation that will affect North Central Texas for the next decade, what to expect and how to prepare for it.

A lifelong Texas resident, Ted started his forecasting career in 1997 at the NWS in Corpus Christi, his hometown. He earned a B.S. degree in meteorology from Texas A&M University and in 2004 moved to the NWS Fort Worth-Dallas office. He is a self-described weather dork, garden geek and football fanatic.
