The day after the State of the Union, leaders in the climate movement including Senator Bernie Sanders, Varshini Prakash of the Sunrise Movement, Rev. Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus, Jessica Lorena Rangel of Houston Eyes of a Dreamer, Bill McKibben of 350.org, Tara Rodriguez of the Puerto Rico Resilience Fund, Cherri Foytlin of the Bayou Bridge Pipeline fight, Jacqueline Patterson of the NAACP, Adriana Voss-Andreae of 350PDX, Jameka Hodnett of Sierra Club’s Ready for 100 campaign, and many more will gather in DC for a livestream event that will light our path ahead: resist the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on our climate, build power towards the 2018 and 2020 elections, and secure the lasting change we need through bold local action.

The event will be livestreamed to Watch Parties all across the country, including ours right here in Dallas. After the livestream, our group will talk about the climate action efforts here and how you can help.
