Arlington Conservation Council Endowment for Scholarships
As part of its mission to protect Arlington’s natural environment through education, service and advocacy, the Arlington Conservation Council (ACC) has established an endowment for undergraduate scholarships at The University of Texas at Arlington.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $1,000
APPLICATIONS
• Must include a letter of recommendation
ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships will be given to undergraduates who:
• Have attended UTA for two consecutive semesters immediately before the application deadline while maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Are enrolled full time in a field of study relevant to ACC’s mission
• Demonstrate their career interests and how the scholarship would help them achieve their goals.

As part of its mission to protect Arlington’s natural environment through education, service and advocacy, the Arlington Conservation Council (ACC) has established an endowment for any undergraduate or graduate student to help cover faculty-led research activities such as travel, equipment, supplies and ancillary services.
RESEARCH AWARD AMOUNT: $3000
ELIGIBILITY
Research awards will go to undergraduates or graduate students who:
• Have attended UTA for two consecutive semesters immediately before the application deadline while maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Are enrolled full time in a field of study relevant to ACC’s mission
• Demonstrate their career interests and how the scholarship would help them achieve their goals
Selection will favor research activities that:
• Benefit the city of Arlington
• Are interdisciplinary and multi-organizational
• Leverage the resources of other entities
Questions to address:
• What is your major?
• What is your GPA?
• Briefly describe your research areas, specifically your interests in environmental conservation.
• How would receiving this award benefit you academically and professionally?
• A faculty research mentor is required for the award period. Provide his or her name and email.
