Clean Water Fund invites you to celebrate our Texas accomplishments and learn more about our ongoing work in North Texas at the home of Trammel Crow.

Texas director David Foster will discuss Clean Water Fund’s role in the region regarding North Texas water conservation initiatives.

Join recycling advocates at City Hall as officials consider the final adoption of Fort Worth's 20-year recycling plan. We want to ensure that the most ambitious programs, like composting in neighborhoods and restaurants, recycling for businesses and industrial operations, are included.

Public testimony is needed to remind Fort Worth city council members that we want the best programs for recycling and composting no matter where we live, work or play. You can sign up to testify at the meeting and you will have three minutes at the microphone.

Citizens' Climate Lobby's Arlington Chapter is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.

Women in the Environment’s annual networking breakfast. You will have an opportunity to share your story, your product, your business cards and your passion for the environment with other like-minded women (and men).  Non-members are invited, too, but only members will have the opportunity to share their information. Walk the gardens after the breakfast.

Meeting of area environmental groups, agencies and anyone interested in local environmental issues to share information. Two major agenda items: state legislative update and recycling going before Fort Worth City Council the following week.

The meeting's agenda: approval of temporary by-laws for DCGP, the formation of a by-laws committee and report of the U.S. Green Party's national convention held this past weekend.

Texas tree advocates will host a storytime at the Texas Capitol to read Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax under some of the building’s historic oak trees. Following the storytime, which we anticipate will feature lawmakers and special guests reading the book, families and advocates will deliver copies of The Lorax to key Texas legislators to urge them against stripping local governments of their tree preservation rules.
