Beach Party of the Century
June 25-26, 2011

Saturday - 10 am to 10 pm
Sunday - 9 am to 4 pm

Put on your flip flops and sunglasses and join us for a beach bash as we celebrate the Grand Finale Weekend of the Comerica White Rock Lake Centennial Celebration. Party is hosted by For the Love Of The Lake with support from White Rock Lake Foundation and Friends of the Bath House. In appreciation of Ebby Halliday as honorary chair of the Centennial Celebration.

Tickets - $15 adults, $5 kids
kids 5 and under free

Free offsite parking at Norbuck, Flag Pole Hill and White Rock DART station (shuttle service to event)

Make plans to enjoy a fabulous day of Texas springtime cycling down to and around our own White Rock Lake celebrating its 100 year birthday. The Greater Dallas Bicyclists, together with the Centennial Host Committee will host the White Rock Lake Centennial Bike Ride.

The riders will travel by bike to TP Hill on the west side of the lake meeting at 10 a.m. to make a commemorative lap around the lake. Booths with beverages and food will open at 11 a.m. with music by  Cameron Ernst.

Ride to the lake on the route of your choice or you may go to the Greater Dallas Bicyclists website listed above to select one of several groups is planning to ride to ride down to the lake together.

Donations welcomed and because of the community's participation, Greater Dallas Bicyclists is proud to donate funds raised to the White Rock Lake Centennial Fund.

The Dallas Arboretum is proud to host the sixth annual Tour des Fleurs
on Saturday, September 17, 2011. This 10K/20K race takes place at
White Rock Lake and finishes with the best post race party in town.
Whether it’s your first running race or you’re a seasoned runner – join

We also have a fabulous opportunity for families to be part of the Tour
des Fleurs event. Before Autumn at the Arboretum opens to the public at
9am, families will enjoy a host of activities while walking throughout
the Arboretum grounds, including live entertainers, food, wonderful
photo opportunities and fun at the Lennox International Walk in the
Garden.

Enjoy rock n’ roll combined with patriotic tunes on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage in celebration of the 4th of July. Bring your own picnic or enjoy tasty treats from Highland Park Cafeteria.
Free admission for all active and retired military with photo I.D. on Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day and Fourth of July.

Children’s entertainer Eddie Coker delights kids of many ages with his fun and silly songs. His performance will take place on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn and free with garden admission. Two performances: 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm.
