This program teaches you how to become more water-efficient in your “urban orchard,” what plants and varieties work best in our area, the basics of pest control, proper pruning methods and other practical ways to increase production. Branch out and join us for a fruitful program! Fort Worth staff will be attending the live online seminars in case you have questions pertaining specifically to Fort Worth outdoor irrigation restrictions and programs.

World's largest eco-expo featuring green nonprofits, businesses and schools. Demos, speakers, live music, food, children's activities and films. Free.

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be holding their annual summer concert series June 2 – July 8 and they are looking for volunteers to assist patrons with sorting their recyclable materials. Volunteers will receive free admission for themselves and a guest to the performance, and can earn extra perks for volunteering at 6-plus performances. Volunteers must be available to attend mandatory training on May 31 at 6:30pm at the Botanic Garden and will need to be available from 5:45 p.m.

All concerts are held on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. Gates open at 6 p.m. Concerts are 7:30-9:30 p.m. for Spring/Summer concerts and from 7 - 9 p.m. for Fall concerts. Garden closes at the conclusion of each concert.

Family friendly event with a focus on its ecofriendly exhibitors and education. More than forty vendors will showcase their green products and services. Classes and demonstrations on environmental awareness will take place throughout the day. Ecofest Arlington will also have many children's activities including games, crafts and educational presentations. The city will be giving away trees while supplies last. Free.
