The citizens' group Liveable Arlington advocates for and organizes toward a healthy, environmentally conscious, sustainable city. The group won the 2017 GreenSourceDFW Sustainable Leadership Award for Small Nonprofit. Liveable Arlington's founder, Ranjana Bhandari, will talk about past successes and future projects.

Dr. Larry Legg will explain variations between native bees and honey bees. Should bee an un-bee-table presentation. It is a free bee.

The Responsible Shale Energy Extraction Conference brings together scientists, engineers, industry professionals, regulators, technology innovators and concerned citizens to discuss the state of environmental stewardship within the shale energy sector. The focus will be on freshwater and wastewater management and will include round table discussions on produced water recycling, water infrastructure, and emerging new technologies with industry leaders on these respective topics.

Downwinders at Risk starts its 2018 College of Constructive Hell-Raising school. Learn from DFW veterans!

1st protest will be Fri, Jan. 5 from 1-4pm. This will be the woman's hunters event. 

2nd protest will be Sat. Jan. 6,  from 1-4pm.

Posters and leaflets will be provided, but feel free to make your own. Lot parking is available within two blocks of the protest area and usually costs between $5 & $10.

This protest is being organized locally by Loki Luis with assistance from CompassionWorks International and OneProtest.org.

For December, we're heading back to Craft and Growler in Exposition Park (near Fair Park in Dallas). We had a great time during our last visit here - looking forward to another! Craft and Growler is next door to Pizza Lounge, so you can order vegan pizza for delivery, and those pizzas are legit! (I like the sauerkrauter)
