Citizens Climate Lobby-Dallas Chapter hosts Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) via conference call. Sen. Whitehouse goes to the floor of the Senate every week to speak about climate change and the urgent need for congressional action. The Dallas Plan Commission is reconsidering gas drilling on Dallas parkland after voting it down in December. The environmental group Dallas Residents at Risk is holding a press conference at 1 pm prior to the public hearing. Residents are encouraged to attend the hearing to voice concerns.
