The upper reach of Whites Branch is an ephemeral stream on the Fort Worth Prairie located within the ongoing Alliance Town Center mixed-use development in Fort Worth. Planning for this development began in late 2012. One of the key questions for this development was how to handle a stock pond formed by a 50 year dam and ephemeral stream flowing through the development. “For this project, Peloton Land Solutions assembled an extensive interdisciplinary team that included engineers, hydrologists, wildlife biologists, landscape architects, planners, rangeland ecologists, and arborists.

This program teaches you how to incorporate edible plants into your home garden and landscape by taking advantage of their ornamental value. You will learn how herbs, fruits and vegetables can add to the colors and textures of your permanent landscape combining both aesthetics and functionality.

Do you have a home landscape that needs help, but you’re on a budget? The Water Efficient Landscape Design Program provides you the skills to be your own landscape designer. You bring the project and we provide the guidance. You will learn basic landscape design techniques, native/adaptive plant selection and placement, design aesthetics, how to install hardscapes, rainwater harvesting and efficient irrigation.
