The North Central Texas Council of Governments will present several transportation funding initiatives, an electric vehicle update and work program modifications during public meetings in September.

Residents can provide input on local bond program partnerships, two Federal Transit Administration funding programs and the Unified Planning Work Program at meetings on Sept. 11 (White Settlement), Sept. 13 (Arlington) and Sept. 18 (Lewisville).

TCU Professor Becky Johnson will speak about the future of wind energy in Texas and the U.S. and how wind energy can mitigate climate change. Ms. Johnson will also speak about how we as Sierra Club members can advocate for wind energy in TX.

We meet at 6:30 for a potluck dinner, so bring a dish or dessert. You are welcome to bring wine. 

Join the Dallas 2030 District in collaboration with ONCOR for our breakfast session on incentives. The presentation will give a high overview of the Oncor incentive (commercial) programs including:

    •    Who can participate

    •    How to participate annual budgets

    •    The incentive amounts paid for different equipment types 

It will also cover how the 2017 program year is going and some in-sight on the 2018 program year.

This incentives session will be presented by Cary Betts, Program Manager Specialist with ONCOR.
