The Urban Water Program at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas has several water conservation and water quality demonstrations and programs for use at schools, organizations or any educational event.  Demonstrations include the Stream Trailer, EnviroScapes, Rainfall Simulator, Irrigation Equipment, Dual Flush Toilet and a Rainwater Harvesting system. Programs include the Incredible Water Journey and Freddy the Fish. Demonstrations and Programs are available by reservation at no cost.  Participants will also get the chance to visit the Center's resources efficient landscape, rainwater harvesting systems and rain garden.

We will start around 9:30am and finish by 2pm each day.

Students will rotate through 4 stations which are 30 minutes each.  Since we have so
many kids, we are trying to put together enough volunteers to offer 2 sets of stations / rotations:

* Native Plant ID / Nature Walk
* Radio Telemetry

Our two-day intensive course fulfills the educational requirements for the LEED GA exam, as well as covering everything you would need to know to pass the GA exam. The Association of Energy Engineers Certified Carbon & GHG Reduction Manager (CRM™) program is designed to provide recognition for professionals who have distinguished themselves as leaders in the growing field of carbon reduction. The designation CRM identifies individuals who have demonstrated high levels of technical expertise in energy management and environmental practices. This course has been approved by AIA for continuing education credits through AEE and qualifies for GBCI's (CMP) for LEED ® professionals.
