The Urban Water Program at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas has several water conservation and water quality demonstrations and programs for use at schools, organizations or any educational event.  Demonstrations include the Stream Trailer, EnviroScapes, Rainfall Simulator, Irrigation Equipment, Dual Flush Toilet and a Rainwater Harvesting system. Programs include the Incredible Water Journey and Freddy the Fish. Demonstrations and Programs are available by reservation at no cost.  Participants will also get the chance to visit the Center's resources efficient landscape, rainwater harvesting systems and rain garden.

We will start around 9:30am and finish by 2pm each day.

Students will rotate through 4 stations which are 30 minutes each.  Since we have so
many kids, we are trying to put together enough volunteers to offer 2 sets of stations / rotations:

* Radio Telemetry

Trinity River Audubon Center offers workshops designed to give
educators the knowledge and skills necessary to implement environmental
education with their students and to make the most of their educational
field experiences at Trinity River Audubon Center.

All workshops are hands-on, field-based, and TEKS-linked and are

improve science literacy, and reinforce science concepts taught in the
