Per Liveable Arlington:

French energy giant, Total Energies has applied to create brand new drill site named Maverick, right next to their AC360 site in East Arlington with 10 new gas wells for starters.

The site is close to an award-winning early childhood learning center and to Thornton, Johns and Adams Elementary schools.

The site is close to an award-winning early childhood learning center and to Thornton, Johns and Adams Elementary schools.

Total failed to secure permits to expand its AC360 site in 2020, and again in 2022 after Liveable mobilized massive community opposition against those permits.

Instead of respecting the community’s wishes, Total has come up with a plan to create a brand new drill site with 10 new gas wells right next to the AC360 site.

Liveable Arlington invites you to attend the Arlington City Council hearing on January 28 in opposition.
