The Keep Texas Beautiful Conference is the primary statewide educational event for community leaders to network, gain knowledge on environmental issues, recycling, and litter prevention, and recognize community excellence.

David Buggs, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), is the keynote speaker.

City of Arlington: Arlington Comprehensive Plan - Arlington

Arlington residents are invited to attend one of two public education sessions to learn about the upcoming Comprehensive Plan process. 

Beginning in late 2024, the City will be updating its Comprehensive Plan, a pivotal policy document that sets the course for the city's development and growth. The Comprehensive Plan serves as a blueprint, guiding decisions on land use, transportation, economic development and environmental sustainability.

Public Education Sessions
Residents can attend one of two meetings to learn more about the process. Both meetings will have similar content, so residents interested in attending need to only go to one.

When: June 20 or June 24, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Note: The Arlington Conservation Council is encouraging environmentalists to attend as the city will be talking about environmental sustainability issues.
