Holiday at the Arboretum, presented by Reliant, features three large-scale outdoor exhibits ready to dazzle and get people in the holiday spirit. They include The Christmas Village, The 12 Days of Christmas and the 50-foot-tall Dazzling Musical Tree.

This year’s reimagined event promises an even more immersive and magical experience for visitors of all ages.
Less than one percent of native prairies exist across the state of Texas. This conservation concern is the catalyst for more than 20 new works created by artist and naturalist James Prosek. Over the past two years, Prosek has traveled to grassland habitats across the state, ranging from urban restoration projects to unplowed remnant prairies, documenting the rich plant and wildlife diversity of these spaces.
Youth is our future, and North Texas Master Naturalists improve the outlook for our natural environment through educating youth about nature. Listen to a roundtable discussion with several members deeply involved with Junior Master Naturalist, Nature Trekkers, Mathfinders/walkSTEM, and other programs educating local young people about nature.
Our roundtable members will engage with each other and with the audience about the what, why, how, and where of the importance of nature to children. This will be a hands-on experience, with an activity for each table.
