Fort Worth Botanic Garden: Lightscape - Fort Worth (Nov. 18-Jan. 9)
Taking place within the 120-acre Fort Worth Botanic Garden and set along a beautifully illuminated walking trail custom-designed for Fort Worth, Lightscape will feature spectacular artistic installations that come to life after dark with color, imagination and sound.
Children (ages 3-12): $18
Infants (0-2 years old): free
Groups of 20 or more: 10 percent off
*Members receive $5 off of each ticket
Tickets are required for admittance, with entry times available every 15 minutes from 5:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. nightly. The average tour time from start to finish is 1.5 hours, although there is no time limit
Heard Museum: Holidays at the Heard - McKinney (Dec. 9 &10)
Holiday lights and décor will accentuate a lovely half-mile Heard nature trail. This nighttime hike through the woods will enchant your family. Also, you'll get a glimpse of the Dinosaurs Live! exhibit along the trail. Please note that the dinosaurs are not animated during the event. In keeping with the Heard's role as a nature preserve, this light display is designed to enhance, rather than overpower, the sanctuary's natural beauty. Live, festive music will delight audiences under the stars in the Heard outdoor amphitheater.
Date and Times: Dec. 9 & 10, 2022; 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Tickets: $11 for adults & seniors and $8 for kids 3-12 (children ages 2 and under are free). Heard Museum Members save $3 per ticket.
