Dallas Blooms is the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest. Presented by Veritex Community Bank, Dallas Blooms will feature larger-than-life peacock topiaries along with more than 500,000 spring blooming bulbs to create the largest and most colorful floral display in the Southwest. An explosion of spring flowers comes from 100 varieties of spring bulbs, thousands of azaleas and hundreds of Japanese cherry trees.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden hosts the largest exhibit of live, exotic butterflies in north central Texas with the Butterflies in the Garden exhibit in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s Rainforest Conservatory.

Cost: Tickets for timed entrance are currently for sale online. Admission is $12 for ages 16-64; $10 for seniors (65+); $8 for ages 6-15; and free for children under five.

For those who want to visit both the Garden and the butterfly exhibit, the price is $18 for adults and seniors and $10 for children. 

School groups of 20 or more may purchase tickets in advance for $8 per person. FWBG|BRIT members receive a discounted price of $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 for children.  

North Texas Unitarian Universalist Congregations: Ned Fritz Scholarship - Deadline May 1

Honoring long-time Unitarian Universalist and environmental activist Ned Fritz, these scholarships have been awarded to graduating high school seniors who attend a Unitarian Universalist congregation in North Texas. Meant for students who intend to study environmental subjects, or related fields, working toward a career focused on improving, protecting, or preserving the environment.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden: Spring Plant Sale - Fort Worth (April 8-9)

This event is free to the public. Expert staff will be on hand to answer all of your plant questions and help you find the plants that will work best in your yard. We strongly suggest bringing your own wagon to transport your new plants to your vehicle.

Events take place in The Grove area. To reach the Grove free of charge, visitors must park in Parking Lot D (3408 West Freeway, 76108) and enter through the Lot D Gate.

Members only presale: April 7, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

General Public Sale: Friday, April 8, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden | Botanical Research Institute of Texas, with Studio Outside, will host a pop-up guest engagement meeting to invite further feedback on the Garden’s long-term master plan. 

Prior to this meeting, six public comment meetings were held throughout the Fort Worth community and also submitted online.
