Sheri Capehart Nature Preserve

Want to be able to identify a tree or shrub in winter when there are no leaves to help? Come learn about ways to identify woody plants (trees, shrubs) using other clues. Registration is limited to 15 people - so it will close when 15 have indicated that they are "going." While it is planned for January 22, in the event of bad weather the back-up plan is to hold it on Jan. 29. This always-popular training is provided by Suzanne Tuttle, retired manager of Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge. She also serves on Boards of Directors for the Fort Worth Chapter of the Native Prairies Association of Texas as well as the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center.
