The City of Fort Worth has issued a call for entries for the 2021 Environmental Excellence Awards.
Innovation Awards will be presented in the areas of:
• Water Use & Process Improvement
• Water Conservation
• Stormwater
• Air Quality
• Land Redevelopment
• Solid Waste Reduction & Recycling
Recognition Awards include:
• Fort Worth Friendly Landscapes
• SmartWater Award

July’s program focuses on two topics: Brandi Kelp, in charge of the City’s Open Spaces program, discusses the program which identifies untouched land that can be preserved for the future and Jarid Manos, from the Great Plains Restoration Council, discusses their efforts to preserve the last of the prairie lands near Benbrook Lake.
