ACTION ALERT! Liveable Arlington: EPA Listening Tour - Online

Jun 15 2021 - 11:00am to Jun 17 2021 - 8:00pm
Online TX

The EPA will hold three virtual listening sessions to take public input on the Agency’s upcoming regulations for the Oil and Natural Gas Industry using a web conference platform.

These rules are critical for Arlington because of the large number of gas wells here, and because Total is drilling and fracking more gas wells next to preschools, homes, and medical offices. Please participate and represent our community. We will post more information on how this impacts us all soon.

The listening sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. CDT over three days. Each day will focus on different stakeholder groups; however, you may register to speak on *any day*.

Tuesday, June 15, 2021: Focus on Industry and Non-Governmental Organizations

Wednesday, June 16, 2021: Focus on Communities, Environmental Justice Stakeholders and Tribes

Thursday, June 17, 2021: Focus on States, Local Governments and Small Businesses
