Help us raise money for our nature school programs. Your contribution helps support general operating expenses, Matilda's maintenance, books and materials, and more through the seasons. This is a quick two-week fundraising blitz. Sales begin March 5 and will end on March 20 which happens to be the Vernal Equinox (the first day of spring) and the full moon - surely an auspicious day to conclude our fundraising. Seeds will be delivered locally in early April. Thank you for your support!

AJ Vagabonds: Foraging Nature Walk at Twelve Hills - Dallas

Mar 10 2019 - 10:00am to 1:00pm
AJ Vagabonds
336 W. Eighth Street
Dallas , TX

Bob Richie is an expert on the natural world around us - even here in our neighborhood! Join us for this foraging nature walk at Twelve Hills Nature Preserve (817 Mary Cliff Rd, Dallas, TX 75208). We will meet at AJ Vagabonds, then caravan over to the nature preserve for a foraging expedition.

This class will start with a quick botany lesson on how to positively identify the plants we're seeking, then we'll head over to Twelve Hills to look for fresh and tasty plants growing naturally in our area. Bob will also discuss useful and medicinal plants found in the area.

Space is limited for this nature walk, so make sure to RSVP on our website! We will notify everyone when the $5 tickets will be released. This small fee ensures that the rest of our programming is free and accessible, and reserves your spot on the nature walk.

Twelve Hills Nature Center is just one mile from us!

Info on how to sign up for the walk on the website link below.
