The same week that President Biden signed a bill making Juneteenth a national holiday, Green Source On the Air talked with three local environmental justice advocates who are raising awareness about race and the environment.

Guests include Ernest McMillan, Dallas activist and winner of the Green Source DFW Environmental Justice Award in 2019; Collin Yarbrough, a graduate student at SMU’s Lyle School of Engineering, and coauthor of the Environmental Injustice Archive, a collaborative project between Downwinders at Risk, SMU Sustainability and Development Program, Paul Quinn’s Urban Research Initiative, and the Clinton Global Initiative University; and Dawan Shockley, cofounder of the Wyatt-Shockley Community Garden.
