We have a barter space for those who need to work for the fee. Often students become partners on our farm and landscape work. In Wayne's course, there is always a fresh relevant hands-on project. This adult workshop will introduce you to the technology of this techno-treasure hunt. Instructor Chad Etheridge will lead you through separating fact and fiction, demystifying space-age GPS technology and simplifying the concept of latitude and longitude. Workshop will include an hour indoor presentation followed by outdoor work in the field to discover some actual geocaches. Bring a GPS unit or GPS-equipped smart phone.
