These single-day camps run from 9:00AM-3:00PM. For children ages 5 to 9 years old.
Campers bring a sack lunch; a daily snack is provided.
Diggin’ into Decomposers: Discover local decomposers, build a wormery, and race snails! July 12th and 27th.
Junior Geologist: See fossils and rocks from all over the country and discover some for yourself! July 17th.
Buggin’ Around: Catch bugs, build insect traps, and get up close and personal with a real live tarantula! July 26th.
Wings for a Day: Go bird watching, make feeders and meet a real live hawk! July 31st.
Mammals Among Us: Get up close and personal with skulls and skins, construct a shelter, and build your own animal tracks! August 1st.
$35 members, $40 non-members

The Solar Car Challenge originated in 1993, and has been recognized by "Technology & Learning" as one of the top ten education programs in the country. The program teaches high school students how to build roadworthy solar cars, and then provides a safe environment to race. NTREG members will participate in various aspects of the race and related activities.

Shahid Buttar leads the Bill of Rights Defense Committee and the People's Campaign for the Constitution (PCC) in the effort to defend civil liberties, constitutional rights, and rule of law principles threatened in the United States by law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Buttar's Dallas talk will inform attendees about the dangers of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2012, codifying worldwide indefinite military detention without charge or trial.
