This week's weekly green roundup features a holiday market at the place named best farmers market by the Dallas Observer (something we can agree with), a community day at White Rock Local Market, and more.

White Rock Lake Local Market is hosting a holiday market this Saturday, December 8th. Given the growing reputation of the white rock market we're willing to bet this will be a good experience. The market will be hosted by Green Spot Market & Fuels at 702 N. Buckner, 75218.The market will have extended hours from 9am to 3pm with a Hillbilly jug band and Fish Fry Bingo from 12 pm to 2 pm. There'll also be over 50 arts & crafts vendors for your Christmas gift shopping needs. You can see the list here.

For those looking for volunteer opportunities friends of O.S. Gray Natural Area is having a community day this coming Saturday, December 8th at the site of the O.S. Gray Natural Area, 2021 W. Abram Street in Arlington, 76013.The group will be pulling the invasive privet and doing some fall planting. The volunteer opportunity will last from 8am to 12pm.
